Refilwe burst into the music scene after learning to DJ at Vinyl Joint (Johannesburg), FoReal House Music Academy (Pretoria), and DJ and Music Production Institute (Sandton).

She has played at Lyve Cafe, Long Street Lounge, and Queens Club in Kimberley; Kitcheners and the Ivy Champagne Garden in Johannesburg; the Second Eye Resort in Kuruman, Rhapsody’s and Sankhaya Corner Couch in Gaborone, Botswana, as well as the 2023 Poetas D’Alma Festival in Maputo, Mozambique.

Refilwe’s afrohouse and afrotech mixes have played on Motsweding FM, Metro FM, Power FM, Kurara FM, Duma FM (Botswana), and Radio LDN (UK).

With over 15 years of experience in the media industry, Refilwe has worked at Pretoria News, Media24, Primedia Broadcasting, and Digify Africa.
